  “STAND STRONG FOR GOSHEN”

I’m asking for your vote on November 3rd.

Reason I am Running for Trustee:   When the current trustees asked for volunteers to campaign for a tax levy, I volunteered.
It gave me the opportunity to knock on doors, talk with the residents of Goshen Township, and listen to their concerns and dissatisfaction of how the local government was being run. They were demanding change. That is when I decided to run for trustee. I am a permanent resident of Goshen and I will listen because I care.
Everyone is concerned with the economy as should be. However, safety is my first concern. We can work with the budget but we can not do without a fully staffed and equipped Police, Fire Department and EMS.
The current trustees are bragging about being below budget,  but part of that reason is because we had a police officer resign which has not been replaced. With salary and benefits, that is close to $90,000.00. That will help your budget figures if you don’t replace him.
There are many safety issues that have not been addressed by the current trustees.
Examples; Sewers, Water and Fire Hydrants, which are a major concern for a number of our residents.

When I am elected I am going to surround myself with intelligent, qualified personnel, I am going to hold the costs and the budget down, and most importantly I am going to restore the Goshen resident's faith in their local government.

I care about Goshen and I will not only pursue these concerns and many others, but I give my word, I will make myself available to the residents of Goshen.
